Hello! And welcome to The Gallimaufry! No, we're not Doctor Who fans who can't spell Gallifrey (although one of us is and can spell it). This is a podcast where two lovers of the past come together to look at the weird, the wonderful (and often sadly dreadful), world of overlooked or frankly forgotten bits of history.

However we're not just random, passionate idiots -- we're stoic, slightly educated ones. Nick has a Masters in History from Portsmouth University (basically all about pirates) and Will has a keen interest in historical non-fiction with a large collection of books he will attempt to read some day.
